CORONATION Street star Vicky Entwistle thanked the Lancashire Evening Telegraph yesterday for helping reunite her with her stolen rings.
An engagement ring and prayer ring, designed by Vicky, were stolen last week from the Tanning Centre, Water Street, Accrington but handed in to her parents' Accrington newsagents after an appeal was made in the Evening Telegraph.
Vicky, who plays Janice Battersby in the soap, said: "I am delighted -- that young girl has restored my faith in humanity.
"I love those rings and they mean a lot to me. Thank you so much."
Because the woman who handed in the rings waived any right to the £300 reward offered by the star Vicky will now donate the money to charity instead.
