POLICE are hunting a teenage cyclist who stole a handbag from a woman in Prestwich at the weekend.
The 55-year-old victim was walking along Rectory Lane at 4pm on Saturday (June 2) when the thief rode up behind her and grabbed her handbag before pedalling away at speed.
The offender is described as a white male in his late teens. He was wearing a white t-shirt, grey trousers and an emerald green fleece jacket.
Anyone who witnessed the bag snatch should contact Whitefield CID on 856 8248.
