COMMUNIGATE users JFC Dynamos were formed in 1997 with just two teams under the name of Blackburn Dynamos Youth Football Club.

The Darwen-based club now has eight sides from under sevens to under 15s in four of the local junior leagues.

The club's commitment to quality coaching produced four league players of the year in its first four seasons; Kieran Hall 1998, James Cathie 1999 and Robert King1999 and 2001.

Next season the club will appoint a Football Association fully qualified coach as Club Coach, who will instigate training programmes throughout the year.

It was also one of the first in the country to operate and develop a child protection policy with a voluntary player welfare officer.

The club's full history can be found on the Lancashire Evening Telegraph's Communigate website. Club official Andy Foulds said: "As its name suggests Communigate is there for community groups and organisations to publicise the work they do.

"The voluntary sector is often overlooked and it's a great way to let others know about the work that they do."
