HUDDERSFIELD defender Chris Lucketti, who is highly thought of by the Burnley boss after captaining the Bury side when Ternent was manager, is being linked with a move away from the McAlpine Stadium.

The 30-year-old moved to the Terriers for £1m from the Shakers but, with Huddersfield being relegated, his name has been mentioned in connection with both the Clarets and Crystal Palace.

New Palace boss Steve Bruce, who left Huddersfield last season, is said to be chasing the defender while Ternent may make a swoop for his former player.
