A BOY was taken to hospital after he was knocked down by a car on a busy road.
Tristran Fielding, 12, of Beechwood Drive, Blackburn, was crossing Preston Old Road at about 3.30 yesterday afternoon when he was struck by the car.
He received minor injuries and was treated by paramedics at the scene before being taken to Blackburn Infirmary, where he was treated for a suspected fractured arm.
He was later discharged.
