CLITHEROE pair Richard Atkinson and Roland Hailwood have accepted the Golf Challenge -- a marathon golf day in aid of the National Children's Home (NCH) charity.
Richard, who is the Methodist minister at Clitheroe, and Roland, who is the Clitheroe Town Crier and NCH Support Group Chairman, will play the courses of Clitheroe, Whalley, Stonyhurst and Mytton -- a total of 54 holes -- in one day.
They will attempt the feat on Wednesday June 20 starting at 6am.
