ST James' Church, New Bury, has for several years found itself the focus of vandals. Our congregation continues to worship God but continues to face graffiti, broken gravestones and even the mindless firing of our wheely bin but this week's incident is both annoying and pointless.
Some kind person has taken it on themselves to unscrew and remove our church door handle, causing inconvenience, expense and more upset. What has the church done to upset people? The handle had been on the door for years and would have taken some effort to remove it.
