YOUNG Ross Whittaker, of Whitefield Street, Hapton launched his own one-boy 'save the world' campaign.
The 11-year-old started his latest project of collecting socks for the Romanians.
It was not the first time that Ross had taken action; he had also written to John Major about the Middle East hostages and collected a petition about seal killing.
