A TEENAGE boy suffered facial injuries after a petrol container exploded on school playing fields.
The 13-year-old was taken to Wigan Infirmary suffering from minor facial injuries after being initially treated by paramedics who raced to Castle Hill Primary School in Hindley at 10pm last Friday.
A police spokesman said a cigarette caused the flashback explosion.
