FAMILIES are needed to provide homes for Spanish students visiting Rossendale next month.
The trip is being arranged by Stephen Hall, community co-ordinator at Alder Grange High School, in Rawtenstall.
He said: "This is our tenth year and we should have been celebrating with a large group of students, but the foot and mouth crisis has meant many do not want to come.
"We have only 15 students and I have only seven families who can accommodate the visitors.
"I could really do with at least another half-dozen and it is getting desperate."
The visitors will be in England from July 2 to 28.
During the week they will take English lessons at the school and go on trips and excursions.
If anyone can help they are asked to contact Stephen on 01706 210276.
