HAVING his legs waxed was a pain Adrian Davies was happy to endure to help underprivileged African youngsters.
Tyldesley Fred Longworth High pupil Adrian, 15, is trying to raise £2,800 for a trip to Namibia next year, when he will be in a group of young volunteers who will be working to improve leisure and playground facilities.
The sponsored leg-wax session raised £400 to help finance Year 10 pupil Adrian's trip to Namibia, when fellow students paid to witness the spectacle in the school hall. And by the time Adrian sets out on his adventure, his legs should be as hairy as ever!
