THE Royal National Institute for the Blind (RNIB) is seeking volunteers to help change the lives of people with sight problems.
They want helpers to place and empty Sooty collection boxes in shops, pubs, clubs and garden centres throughout the area.
Training and tools are provided and expenses paid.
The charity's second national fund-raising day takes place on June 15 and will take the form of a Look Loud Day.
Schools, group and employees are invited join the awful-dressing day by donating £1 each to the charity or organising the loudest dresser competitions..
