ON behalf of Preston Panthers (Preston's Sports Club for people with disabilities) I would like to thank The Citizen for the article in the newspaper about the Panthers (Citizen, May 10).
Thanks to the article a great many more children have become aware of the Preston Panthers.
In addition our membership is now growing with more children experiencing a better quality of life through their involvement in sport as a result.
Introducing children to sport not only improves their quality of life, but it makes them valued as a team member and people stop looking on the child with disabilities for what they can't do, but rather for what they can do.
Once again, thanks for the help you've given.
