PUPILS from six primary schools are preparing to sing their hearts out for their local hospice.
The celebration will raise funds for St Catherine's Hospice, Chorley, and appeals manager John Nickson said: "We are truly grateful to all the teachers and pupils who are taking part
"It is always an uplifting sight to see these young people joining together to sing."
The schools will gather at St George's Church, Chorley, at 7pm on Wednesday, June 20. They are St Lawrence Church Primary School, Chorley; St Joseph's Roman Catholic School, Withnell; Eccleston Primary; St Mary's Roman Catholic Primary, Euxton; St John's Church of England, Brinscall; and Lancaster Lane Primary, Leyland.
Each school will perform a selection of songs, and then they will form a massed choir of almost 200 children.
