A YOUTH who helped himself to cash from a girlfriend's mother's bank account, had his case adjourned by Burnley Magistrates.
Adam Kostilek, 21, took almost £100 from the account over a month, the court was told.
The defendant, of St Anne's Street, Padiham, admitted theft to the tune of £810 and was bailed until June 27. The court heard the victim Julie Kearns had a bank account with the Natwest and received a statement which included a number of transactions she did not recognise.
Money had been withdrawn from her account using a cash machine at an off licence, between April 20 and May 25.
The complainant's daughter had an association with Kostilek, he had seen her use her card and pin number and knew where they were located. Dylan Bradshaw, defending, asked for the case to be adjourned.
