A GROUP which offers advice to women are looking for women to help run the team.
Freeflow, the Burnley-based self-referral service for women who require counselling, want to hear from female volunteers who could play a role in managing the organisation as members of he Freeflow committee.
They are particularly interested in volunteers who could provide help and support on areas such as publicity, fundraising, recruitment or training.
They also want to hear from retired or employed women who have business experience.
Rita Nadin who currently chairs the group said: "Due to the increase in demand for our services, Freeflow needs more volunteers with specialised skills and experience to help with further development."
The local team, based at the Voluntary Sector Resource Centre in Yorkshire Street, work under he code of ethics of the British Association of Counsellors. They provide free, confidential counselling services for women in a safe and supportive environment.
The service is offered to all women, regardless of age, ethnicity, marital or social status.
