A CYCLIST was taken to Burnley General Hospital with concussion after a road accident.
Police said Michael McBride, 29, of Lothersdale Close, Brierfield, was knocked from his bicycle as he travelled behind a vehicle at the mini roundabout at the junction of Lomeshaye Road and Hibson Road, yesterday afternoon.
Driver of the Ford Escort was William Barlow, 65, of Barden Lane, Burnley.
