A NEW logo drawn by a ten-year-old primary school pupil has been selected for Rossendale Heart Support Group.
Alder Grange High School in Rawtenstall was asked to co-ordinate the competition to design the logo and Rossendale and Darwen MP Janet Anderson was invited to pick the winner.
The winning entry was from Eleanor Silkstone, of Constablelee Primary School who won a £10 book token. Community co-ordinator Stephen Hall said: "The idea behind the competition was to design a logo which would be instantly recognisable, easy to replicate and would tug at everyone's heart-strings.
"The winning entry totally captured the essence of this and was also the only one of 110 entries to show two hearts supporting each other."
