PARENTS should make a diary date for Bury's annual summer play scheme which starts next month.
A range of activities is being organised for children aged between five and 12 years old, beginning on July 23.
The scheme aims to give youngsters a safe and stimulating environment in which to enjoy themselves while providing parents with peace of mind.
Councillor John Costello, early years spokesman, said: "Last year's summer play scheme proved to be a big hit with parents and we are confident that it will be as successful this time.
"There is definitely a demand for holiday provision of this kind and it can make a real difference to local families."
