ST LEONARD'S Church, Langho, crowned their wounded Rose Queen during a day packed with activities.
Holly Bond, 11, was in plaster after breaking her thumb but still took part in the procession from nearby the Rogersfield estate to the church.
She was crowned at 2pm and opened the day's activities half an hour later - she even picked a winner of a hot air balloon flight for the grand draw.
There was a bouncy castle, a coconut shy, face painting, badge making, tombolas, cake and plant stalls as the community came together to raise money for the parish.
In the evening there was a disco for the whole family with music from the Clitheroe Town Band.
