SPORTY students from Darwen Moorland High School who excelled during a special day of athletics were rewarded for their efforts.
The annual competition -- held at Witton Park, Blackburn, for the first time -- was entered by 27 tutor group teams.
Events included running, jumping and throwing. Special prizes went to pupils who won the most events and one was given for enthusiasm to participate.
