BRIERCLIFFE Lodge residential home, in Rainhall Crescent, Barnoldswick, could be expanded to cater for three more people if plans for single storey extensions to side and front of the building are given the green light on Monday.
The redevelopment would include the formation of a lounge/dining room and three bedrooms, as wll as alterations to the existing building.
One letter of objection was received from the occupant of The Arches, which is next to the home, who said the proposals would detract from the character of both the building and the area and would increase the existing drainage problems in Rainhall Crescent.
Officers have recommended the application for approval.
