ROSSENDALE Council has carried out temporary repairs to pavements in Stacksteads after two people fell and injured themselves.
Council workers have removed some concrete flags on Newchurch Road and have replaced them with asphalt.
Stacksteads ward Coun Michael McShea said: "I would like to reassure people that these repairs are only temporary."
