AROUND 80 homes in Sunnybank, Bury, were left without power after an explosion at an electricity junction box.
Norweb engineers repaired the box in Lindale Avenue after the blast around 7.45pm on Sunday (June 24). Power was restored around 10.50pm.
A Norweb spokeswoman said: "We do apologise to all our customers who were affected. This was to ensure our engineers carried out the repairs and to address any problems."
