LANCASHIRE pizza-maker Schwan's Europe won an unprecedented hat-trick of awards at the British Frozen Food Federation annual dinners.
The company, which employs more than 400 people at Leyland, swept the board in the best new pizza/pasta category, winning the gold, silver and bronze awards. Its Chicago Town Pizza took the gold and silver awards and its Fresschetta Pizza won the bronze.
Steve Freeman, European sales and marketing director, said: "To pick up all three awards in a single category is a marvellous achievement and this demonstrates our commitment to responding to consumer needs with new and innovative products."
