BUSINESSMAN Paul Crook is a huge figure in the body building world.

But there's one person who is even bigger -- Mr Britain and now World Champion, Paul Sutton.

Mr Crook, who owns Leigh-based Powerbeck, supplies sports nutrition for body building from his Victoria Street base in Leigh.

And one of those who have benefited from his expertise is Mr Sutton, a 36-year-old, who recently competed in the world championships in Austria -- and won.

Mr Sutton, from Warrington, headed for Arnold Schwarzenneger's Austrian home town on June 8 and was judged on his size, symmetry, muscle definition and poses.

His triumph has delighted Mr Crook, a 29-year-old who lives in Hindley Green. Mr Sutton is the eighth champion Paul Crook has sponsored since he started in the industry at his father's gym 15 years ago.

But although he has developed an interest in the nutritional side of the business, Mr Sutton has played no part in developing muscles himself.

Instead, he formulates his own food and supplements which are stored at his warehouse and distributed to body builders in England, Ireland, the Middle East and Spain.

He said: "I've been too busy learning the nutritional side. I help to coach amateur body builders into becoming professionals.

"Paul is now in the best shape of his life at 14st 10lb of solid muscle, carrying only three per cent body fat.

"He is semi professional at the moment, but we are hoping to get him the Pro card which will put him into the Mr Olympian stage and among the best in the world."

Mr Sutton intends to compete for the Mr Universe title later this year. ALL MUSCLE: World champion body builder Paul Sutton, who relies on Leigh's Paul Crook to help him stay in shape
