THERE is no mental or physical reason why a dog should be walked in a straight line.
If the owner wishes the animal to relieve itself, he need do no more than walk the animal in a circle in his own back lawn or yard, whichever is the case.
This observation may not win any votes, but don't you think there is a lot of practical common-sense in it.
More to the point, what could animal owners have against it?
