COMMUNITY groups in Leigh and Atherton could be in line for grants of up to £1,500.
Any projects that improve conditions in the local community and environment and bring people together can qualify for funding.
Wigan Council People and Places Manager Nick Burdekin said: "The Community Grant Scheme offers local community groups a starting point to put into practice some of their ideas for local environmental improvement." Application forms are available on 01942 404390.
