SEEING the pictures and story by Saira Shah, the heroic woman who risked death by giving an account of the horrific execution by the Taliban in Afghanistan in which a woman had a bullet put through her head because she had committed bigamy, it was notable that the male who joined in this so-called heinous crime got off scot free.
It worries me that these zealots fear women so much that none is allowed an education or allowed to drive a car, for fear that it would bring lustful thoughts to men.
What method of protest can a caring world take to move this country forward into something approaching civilisation?
