BEAUTIFUL blooms in 30 hanging baskets are brightening up the main street in Stacksteads.
The Stacksteads Riverside Park Group has paid for the baskets to be placed on brackets on the street lights along Newchurch Road.
SRPG secretary Christine Lamb said: "Some people have been disappointed that we have not been able to put more baskets out and we have a few brackets left if we can raise the money have them fitted on the lamp posts."
She said the florist at Heaven Scent had planted the baskets and given the group a discount and Duncan Thommasson, a member of the group who works shifts attended every day to water the baskets and flower beds.
