A DOUBLE-decker Stagecoach bus taking students to Runshaw College, Langdale Road, Leyland, crashed into a garage forecourt canopy on Monday, July 1, after taking a wrong turn.
Emergency services rushed to help two injured students after the bus, driven by Robert Cookson, hit the canopy of Feltons Service Station, in Wigan Road, Euxton.
Both students were sitting on the top deck near the front of the bus when the crash happened at around 8.40am and received cuts to their faces. They were taken to Chorley Hospital by ambulance.
An investigation into the incident will follow.
