I'VE heard a lot about voter apathy, but what about councillor apathy?
If anyone has any doubts about its existence I invite them to come to Haydock and see for themselves. I believe that their finest hour has just arrived in the re-siting of the bus stop in Clipsley Lane, away from the elderly and disabled in O'Connell Close, which has now made it more difficult for these people to get out and about.
As for the involvement of Merseytravel in the latest incident, it just goes to show how much they care about the elderly and disabled.
