A NEW specialist nurse has been appointed to the Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh NHS Trust gynaecology department.
Annette Halliwell will specialise in cancer and gynaecology and will offer advice, help and support to patients who attend Billinge Hospital and to patients in their homes and the community. Jane Paul, associate general manager of the surgical directorate said: "We are sure this appointment can only enhance services we already provide and give better care for all patients."
