WHITEFIELD bus station is in the fast lane for a facelift.
But passengers are warned that during the six-week refurbishment, beginning on July 30, they could face minor disruption.
Work to the bus station in Stanley Road will involve dismantling existing stands and installing new ones.
A spokeswoman for Greater Manchester Passenger Transport Executive said: "There will also be a general tidy-up and we will make better use of the space and make it more modern looking."
