POLICE are still hunting a robber who slashed his victim with a knife during a struggle on a Radcliffe footbridge.
Caroline Mahon later required stitches to her injured wrist as a result of a fight with her attacker, who wore just a white T-shirt and black shorts.
The attack came during the early hours of Wednesday June 27 as the 24-year-old made her way home from Radcliffe's Asda store where she works.
As she walked across the Victoria Street footbridge she was confronted by a man who demanded cash before producing a four-inch knife and slashing her. A group of bystanders ignored her cries for help and police believe they could be friends of the attacker.
The victim, who lives nearby, was slashed across the wrist during a struggle with the thug.
The offender is described as white, chubby with long, dark hair.
Anyone who can help police with their inquiries into the attack should contact Whitefield CID on 856 8248.
