JAMIE Leach is following in her mum's footsteps by achieving her own crowning glory.
The ten-year-old is the current Unsworth Charity Junior Queen and is representing the area at carnivals and events throughout the North West.
And mum Michaela is delighted with her daughter's success, for she was crowned Radcliffe Carnival Queen in 1982 and five years later took the title of Whitefield Lions Queen.
Now it's the turn of Jamie, of North Street, Radcliffe, to make her mark and at the recent Prestwich Carnival she took second prize in the best dressed vehicle section with her decorated tricycle.
And she later powered her way to first prize in the same category at the Stalybridge Carnival with the same bike.
Proud mum Michaela, pictured with her daughter, said: "Jamie was made the Unsworth Junior Charity Queen just a few weeks ago and already she's achieved two prizes.
"She will be going to other carnivals and courts of queens events to represent Unsworth and she'll also be raising cash in her own right for charities."
