FIRMS from throughout East Lancashire took advantage of a seminar hosted by Business Link East Lancashire, to learn how e-commerce can boost their business.
Run in conjunction with UK online for business, it took place at Northern Technologies, Nelson and featured practical advice and information.
Colin Beardmore, general manager of GTC Sports in Altham, said the seminar had focused his mind on the presentation and promotion of his site.
"It is important that you have a professional presentation that keeps people looking at it," he said. "It is also important that you let people know it is there."
Electricity Direct, a call centre business based in Barrowford, has now set up a working group to look at its internet development.
