LOCAL radio man James Wilson gave a talk to a gathering of people from the radio industry.
Mr Wilson, of Barnoldswick, was invited by BBC Radio Four to address members of the Radio Academy at the Radio Festival at the G-Mex conference and exhibition centre in Manchester.
James, who has lived in Barnoldswick for three years, is news editor and a director of North Yorkshire-based Fresh AM.
He gave a joint presentation with BBC Radio York's David Dunning on how the media handles a national crisis.
Chairman was Anna Hill of the BBC Farming Today programme.
Fresh AM broadcasts to the biggest area covered by any independent local radio station in the UK, covering 2,000 square miles of East Lancashire, North Yorkshire, South Cumbria, South Durham and part of West Yorkshire.
