I AGREE with John Richards (letters: July 12). It is about time do gooders shut up. Whatever the police do or don't do they are wrong. Clamp down on thugs and vandals, some stupid idiot comes out with 'what a shame, they was not doing any harm they was only bored because they have nothing to do and nowhere to go.' What about the law abiding people? We have no rights. If we go out we risk rape, mugging or burglars calling at our home. Shut up and let the police do their job and rid decent people and areas of the scum.
