ROVERS boss Graeme Souness was celebrating today after being given the green light to complete the signing of Turkish midfield ace Tugay Kerimoglu.
Ewood officials have been given the all clear to sign the 30-year-old star in a £1.3 million deal from Rangers after the Football League Review Panel decided to grant the player a work permit following a successful appeal yesterday.
The decision ended weeks of uncertainty surrounding the future of the skilful playmaker who was quickly identified by Souness as his top summer transfer target.
The player will now link up with the rest of the squad for a pre-season tour of Austria and Germany.
And he could even make his Rovers debut on Monday night against Austrian outfit Abtenau.
