A TEENAGER was lucky to escape with minor injuries when he was struck by a car in a hit and run incident in Turf Street, Radcliffe.
The 15-year-old grazed his right leg when a green Volvo 240GL mounted the pavement on Saturday evening (July 14). The vehicle sped off.
The victim, Daniel Paul, of Dean Street, Radcliffe, did not require hospital treatment.
A spokesman for Bury Traffic Unit said: "We are making inquiries regarding the registration number of the car and we expect a result.
"In the meantime, we would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the collision."
