A LIVING theatre for plants and people, the Eden Project has just opened near St Austell in Cornwall.
It describes itself as a gateway into the world of plants and people and is a centre for communication.
The 21st century scientific institute and forum is under huge glass domes and plants from across the world are being recreated. The website is very simple but contains lots of information on the aims of the project, how it was conceived and built, and what there is to see.
Neat touches include quicktime files allowing you to see inside the glasshouses and follow the growth of the plants.
