THERE are parts of Blackpool with which I am less than familiar. This week I was called upon to pick up my son and his wife from Rigby Road bus station. There are a couple of parking areas around the bus station and I was appalled at what I saw. Here is an area which shouts "Welcome to slummy Blackpool", an area which welcomes many visitors.
Blackpool, from Gynn Square to Bispham, and from the Pleasure Beach to Starr Gate is fine. It's the bit in between which is terrible.
How about a few bulldozers and scores of cleaning wagons?
