GREATER Manchester's Learning and Skills Council (LSC) has appointed Andrew Harrison as head of finance and systems.
He was finance director and company secretary of Enterprise Cumbria Ltd (ECL) and played a part in a significant improvement of that organisation.
Mr Harrison was previously chief internal auditor of Burnley Oldham and Rochdale NHS Internal Audit Consortium and worked for the District Audit Service of the Audit Commission for six years.
He qualified as an accountant in 1993 and recently passed the Institute of Directors diploma in company direction.
