PRETTY Ella Wright strutted her stuff on the catwalk when she scooped a prestigious glamour award for the third time.

Five-year-old Ella, of Herron Close, Blackburn, stepped into the shoes of a top supermodel after she was awarded the Best Dressed Young Lady at this year's Royal Lancashire Show.

Dressed in a pale blue dress, the youngster was all smiles as she paraded among eight other children up to 12 years old.

And it is not the first time she has won the award after impressing judges again last year and when she was just two years old.

Her mum Joanne, said: "The competition seems to be getting more popular as it gets going and Ella just loves it and the whole walking down the catwalk thing.

"She's a very girly girl. She's always smiling and she's quite an appealing child. All the winners were presented with sashes this year, which they have never done before and it's something for her to keep, which is very nice."

And granny Janet Holden, who saw her pick up the award, said: "She was really excited when she heard she'd won. She did it so beautifully and smiled all the time.

"One lady said she was glad she'd won because she heard all the other children saying before the show that they wanted to win but, instead, Ella said it would be better if they could all win."
