PENDLE Council's Urban Renewal and Support Services department has applied to convert an end terrace house in Albert Street into an information office for the Nelson (West) Renewal Area scheme.
House number 42 would be used as an advice centre and showhouse to demonstrate improvements connected to the project, which is scheduled to last another nine years and involves both the improvement and demolition of houses within the area.
Planners have recommended the plans for approval.
