A 27-YEAR-OLD Burnley man has died from a suspected drugs overdose at the home he shared with his girlfriend.
Shawn Bradshaw was found dead in the lounge of his house in Melville Street at around 10pm on Friday, by his girlfriend Karen Alderson when she returned home from work at Burnley General Hospital.
DS Peter Simm, of Burnley CID, said: "There are no suspicious circumstances and we are treating it as a drugs-related death. The police are still investigating his death but, from a post mortem carried out on Saturday, it appears at this stage that the cause of death was a drugs overdose." East Lancashire coroner David Smith has been informed. Mr Bradshaw's girlfriend was too upset to comment.
