POLICE are hunting thugs who threatened a driver with baseball bats late at night.
The driver was chased by two men in a black BMW who threatened him with baseball bats, tried to run him off the road as they careered through Oswaldtwistle at speeds of up to 70mph.
They finally hurled a beer bottle through his windscreen.
It is thought he was leaving the King Street Working Men's Club, Accrington, before the incident which happened shortly after midnight on Saturday.
The police are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the attack, from when it started in Blackburn Road, Accrington, to Duckworth Hill Lane, Oswaldtwistle.
