INNOVATIVE East Lancashire businesses are being invited to take advantage of European funding to help with product development.
The East Lancashire Product Management Programme is designed to help small and medium sized businesses bring new products onto the market. It can also help them improve existing products to make them more competitive.
The programme takes a practical approach and as well as direct assistance can provide funding assistance to pay for specialist expertise. Companies in Burnley, Hyndburn, Rossendale and selected areas of Pendle and Ribble Valley are eligible for the programme which is managed by Enterprise Business Solutions in partnership with Lancaster University Management School and is part financed by Lancashire County Council and the European regional Development Fund.
A website has been launched to provide more detailed information.
The programme will run until the end of December 2001.
