HEAR'SAY sensation Suzanne Shaw today vowed to take her bandmates on wild nights in Bolton and Bury next month.

The 19-year-old star of Britain's biggest pop group said the band was thinking of stopping off in the two towns after their major gigs in Manchester nex month.

One of the concerts, on September 29, coincides with her 20th birthday, giving her double cause for celebration.

Suzanne is currently looking for a new home in London but still talks fondly about the area in which she was born.

And packing her new friends into the area's top nightspots is one of her immediate priorities.

Hotbed

Her desire was revealed during an exclusive interview with the BEN, in which she:

Slammed her former boyfriend for selling a kiss-and-tell story;

Denied she and her current man, Andrew Warner, were planning to marry.

Branded an Internet hoax which claimed she had died as "sick".

Suzanne also revealed she had become close pals with Bury actor Ralf Little and was enjoying meeting other stars from the area, which she called "a hotbed of talent". But the singer criticised her former boyfriend, footballer Paul O'Shaughnessy, for detailing his four-year relationship with her in a Sunday tabloid.

She said the Bury midfielder had acted out of self-interest and added: "You try to ignore things like that and you try not to get angry. At first it felt like: 'How dare you, how dare you say things about me like that'.

"Now I just think: 'Whatever'. I'm getting on with my job and having a lovely time with great support from the band."

Suzanne, who attended St Gabriel's High School, Bury, said she regularly travelled north to visit friends and family, including current boyfriend Andrew Warner who still lives in Bolton.

She began dating the 35-year-old when she was a member of Abba tribute band "The Right Stuff".

The bubbly blonde quickly hit it off with Andrew and they have been dating for more than a year.

But when asked if there were any wedding bells on the horizon, she said without hesitation: "Not all all. No, not yet. I've got my job to concentrate on.

"I get to see him quite a bit, though, and we're very close. Being in the band and going out with him was difficult at first but we had some good laughs."

She denied rumours that she had temporarily split with Andrew two months ago.

Suzanne, who sports a tattoo which shows the Chinese symbol for strength, used to live with her mother, Janet, in Brandlesholme, Bury. During her time at school, she took time off to star on television, including the BBC children's drama, Elidor, in 1994. She also gained acting experience with the All Saints Operatic Society in Elton.

But fame has had its pitfalls, she admitted before adding: "When I heard there was a hoax BBC website saying I'd committed suicide, it was a real shock.

"I actually laughed about it, but it was sick. Thankfully someone had told me about it before the papers got wind so I could warn my family.

"It's one of those things, I guess. It has happened to Eminem in the past so maybe it shows how well-known I've become."

The band have been regulars in Manchester over the past six months, often seen in Reform, the city's celebrity hang-out, and Tiger Tiger -- popular with "rival" band SClub7.

Hear'say's Manchester Arena gigs next month -- on September 22, 23, 29, and 30 -- are a sellout and Suzanne and Wigan girl Kym Marsh are treating them as homecoming concerts.

Gig

Suzanne said: "I'm really looking forward to the gigs. We play one on my birthday so I'm on a bit of a high about that already.

"It's going to be a big gig. My favourite so far has been Party in the Park, but these Manchester ones promise to be much better."

The group will play their smash hit, "Pure and Simple", which shot straight to number one on its release and became the third biggest selling single of all time.

Their multi-platinum album, "Popstars", also shot to the top as did their second release, "The Way to Your Love".

Suzanne beat 3,000 hopefuls to grab a place in Hear'Say, the auditions for which were televised on ITV.

She said: "I truly can't accept that I'm famous. It feels so weird. To me, though, I'll always be Suzanne from Bury." HEAR'SAY sensation Suzanne Shaw today vowed to take her bandmates on wild nights in Bolton and Bury next month.
